Downtown Altercation Left Male in His 20’s With a Stab Wound
Hamilton Police continue to investigate after an altercation in the downtown core sent one male to hospital with injuries consistent with a stabbing.
On Wednesday, July 28, 2021, shortly after 2:00 p.m., police responded to a stabbing in the area of York Boulevard and Park Street North in Hamilton.
Police attended and located a male in his early 20’s suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He has since been released.
The victim sustained his injuries during an altercation with two unknown males.
A suspect was initially arrested in the area however after further investigation they have since been released.
