Driver Arrested After Dangerous Driving in Parking Lot

A 28-year-old Hamilton Man will appear in court in early July to answer to charges related to an early morning driving incident in an east end parking lot.

On Wednesday, April 29, 2020, shortly before 3:00 a.m., Hamilton Police attended a parking lot at 674 Queenston Road after receiving several complaints involving a silver coupe with one headlight. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle conducting donuts as it drove around the lot. Emergency lights and sirens were activated however, the driver refused to stop. For safety reasons, the officers maintained their position while continuing to monitor the vehicle. The vehicle briefly left the parking lot and upon its return, the driver exited the vehicle and was arrested without further incident.

The driver, a 28-year-old Hamilton man was taken into police custody. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, to answer to criminal charges.

Hamilton Police towed a 2005 Infinity G35 from the scene.
