Driver Arrested in Pedestrian Fatality

A 73-year-old Hamilton man was arrested for the fail to remain collision that resulted in the death of a pedestrian. He appeared in court on Sunday, November 24, 2019.

On Saturday, November 23, 2019, 73-year-old Daniel Wilson attended the Hamilton Police East End Station located at 2837 King Street East Hamilton, where he surrendered to police. He appeared in court on Sunday, November 24, 2019, to face charges related to a fail to remain collision that resulted in the death of a 70-year-old pedestrian.

The vehicle involved in the incident has been seized by police as the investigation continues.
