Hamilton Police remain committed to addressing the illegal drug trade in the community. A search warrant was executed by the Vice and Drugs Unit that resulted in the arrest of several residents from Stoney Creek and the seizure of illegal drugs, proceeds of crime and ammunition. One party appeared in court today and the remaining parties are scheduled to appear in court in June.

Hamilton Police received information regarding illegal drug activity surrounding a residence in the Stoney Creek area. An investigation was initiated and with the information gathered, police applied for a search warrant. The warrant was granted and on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at 2:30 p.m. members of the Hamilton Police Vice & Drug Unit entered a residence in the area of Gray Road and Roxborough Avenue. During the search, a large quantity of Cocaine and Canadian currency, Heroin, Methamphetamine, ammunition and a pick-up truck were seized.

A Stoney Creek man and three females were arrested during the warrant execution. The male was held for a bail hearing and appeared in court earlier today. The females were taken into police custody and later released, scheduled to appear in court in early June.
