Drug Warrants Executed Inside Hotel Rooms

Hamilton Police have executed a drug warrant and made three arrests inside a hotel.

On April 15, 2020, shortly after 12:15 p.m., police conducted surveillance in the area of the Budget Inn on 737 King Street East in Hamilton. Police noticed behaviours indicative of drug trafficking inside two hotel rooms.

Officers from Investigative Units worked together to execute search warrants within the rooms. Three individuals were located inside and arrested.

 

The following items were seized:

  • Cocaine (approx. street value $2560.00)
  • Pills – (drug analysis required)
  • Cash - $2985.00
  • Butterfly knife
  • Flick knife

Charged: Female (58-years-old) Hamilton resident

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
  • Proceeds of Crime Under $5000

Charged: Male (26-years-old) Hamilton resident

  • Possession – Cocaine
  • Possession – Other drugs
  • Possession of prohibited weapon x 2
  • Fail to Comply with Release Order – other than to attend court x 2

Charged: Female (41-years-old) Hamilton resident

  • Possession – Cocaine
  • Possession – Other Drugs
  • Fail to Comply with Release Order – other than to attend court
  • Possession of Prohibited Weapon x 2
