Loaded Guns and $250,000 in Street Drugs Seized

Hamilton Police continue to work at getting drugs and weapons off Hamilton’s streets. Over the past two days, Hamilton Police have seized five firearms, over $250,000 in drugs, executed five drug warrants and made four arrests.

In June 2019, Hamilton Police began an investigation into suspected Fentanyl Trafficking.

On January 22, 2020, the Vice and Drug Unit was granted a search warrant to enter a residence on Bethune Avenue. When police searched the residence, three male parties were found inside along with drugs, money and firearms.

The males were arrested, transported to custody and held for a bail hearing.

  • Xanax Tabs 100 +
  • Paraphernalia for trafficking

  • Canadian Currency

The total street value of drugs seized was in excess of $250,000.

On January 23, 2020, the Vice & Drug Unit also executed a warrant on a residence and vehicle in the area of Bradbury Road in Stoney Creek. A 23-year-old male was located inside and found in possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. In addition, a handgun was located in a concealed area of the house.
