On Sunday, February 5th, 2023, police received multiple calls of a large truck that had crashed into the Ezee Clean Car Wash Carwash located at Highway 8 and Green Road.  

During the incident, one of the suspects intentionally hit a witness with their vehicle causing serious injuries. 

In 2023, three of the involved parties, 28-year-old, Maxwell Swiston, 45-year-old, Jason Ward and 55-year-old, Louis Alexander were arrested and charged. Ward and Alexander have since pled guilty. 

On Thursday, March 28, 2024, Hamilton Police arrested 49-year-old, Daniel Watters as the fourth and final party to this offence. Watters is charged with B&E Commit Mischief over $5000, B&E Commit Theft over $5000, Two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
