Habiton Solomon Wanted in Shooting Incident

On Monday, July 22, 2023, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to a disturbance call in the area of King Street West and Caroline Street North for multiple people fighting in a parking lot. Upon arrival police discovered evidence of a shooting.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries from the incident.

As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant has been issued for 21-year-old, Habiton Solomon of Hamilton for:

  • Discharge Firearm with Intent
  • Reckless Discharge of Firearm
  • Possession of Loaded Prohibited Firearm
  • Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm

Police are continuing to investigate this matter and are seeking the public’s assistance for the known whereabouts of Habiton Solomon so that he can be safely arrested. Habiton Solomon is considered armed and dangerous. If located, please do not approach and contact police immediately.
