Hamilton Man Arrested For Child Pornography Charges
Hamilton Police arrest a 29-year-old man of Hamilton for child pornography charges.
In December 2020, the Hamilton Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit received information in regards to child pornography being made available online. On June 10, 2021, a warrant to search was executed for a residence on the Hamilton Mountain. Police seized devices capable of storing digital evidence.
On July 15, 2021, police arrested a 29 year-old male, after examining the data from the seized devices.
The Hamilton Police Service is a member of the Ontario Provincial Strategy to Combat Internet Child Exploitation. This project has been made possible by a grant from the Ministry of the Solicitor General. The Hamilton Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit continues to relentlessly pursue offenders, who are engaged in the online sexual exploitation of children. This work was done to ensure the continued protection of children in our community while holding offenders accountable for offences they commit in said community.
