Hamilton Pharmacy Robbery

Hamilton Police are investigating an armed robbery at a local pharmacy where a large number of narcotics were stolen. Police are reminding the public that taking medication that is not prescribed for them can be harmful.

On Tuesday, June 22, 2021, shortly before 7:00 p.m., a lone male suspect robbed a pharmacy in the Stoney Creek area. A large amount of unmixed methadone powder was stolen and the whereabouts of these drugs are not known at this time.

Police are concerned as improper consumption of these opioid drugs could be fatal. The risk is especially high in the case of children. If you find lost or discarded medication, do not touch it and contact police.
