Hamilton Police are Seeking Witnesses to a Collision between a Pick-up Truck and Cyclist

Hamilton Police continue to investigate a collision between a motor vehicle and bicycle. Witnesses are asked to contact Detectives with information.

On Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 shortly before 6:00 p.m., a 13-year-old male cyclist from Hamilton was crossing westbound on Upper Wentworth at Elite Drive, Hamilton while on his bicycle,. A collision occurred involving the bicycle and a 2005 Ford Pick-up truck. The 39-year- old male driver from Hamilton stopped his truck quickly but the cyclist was thrown off his bicycle, to the roadway. The cyclist has been transported to the Hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver is cooperating

Hamilton Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the collision. Any witnesses to the collision who have not already spoken with Police are being asked to contact the investigators Detective Constable Jaimi Bannon or Detective Constable Ben Paterson at (905) 546-4753.
