Hamilton Police Continue to Investigate Armed Robbery

Hamilton Police continue to investigate a bank robbery and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle and anyone known to be involved in this incident.

On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to a local financial institution in the area of King Street West and Queen Street North for a robbery. The suspects fled in a vehicle prior to police arrival.

Through continued investigation, police learned two males were involved in the robbery, entered the business and directed staff to open the safe. One suspect carried a handgun during the robbery and the suspects were able to obtain a quantity of money.

The suspects are described as middle-aged males, wearing dark clothing with black masks. One suspect was wearing red pants with paint splatters, while the other wore grey pants. Police believe the suspects fled in a newer model, red Jeep Grand Cherokee with blue Ontario licence plates.
