Hamilton Police Continue to Investigate Stabbing Incident

Hamilton Police Detectives continue to investigate a stabbing incident in the Westdale area. Residents are asked to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity.

On Sunday, October 27, 2019, shortly before midnight, a couple was in a residence on Bowman Street when they were assaulted after opening the door to three masked males. The male victim, 19-years-of-age from Etobicoke, received injuries from a sharp-edged weapon. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The female victim, 19-years-of-age from Hamilton, was sprayed with an unknown aerosol irritant. She was medically treated at the scene.

The three masked suspects fled the scene. They are described as being brown-skinned and wearing dark clothing.

Through investigation, police believe this was a targeted incident in relation to a disturbance that took place at the residence the night before.
