Hamilton Police Detectives Investigate

No physical injuries reported to police in the investigation of a discharged firearm on the Hamilton Mountain, anyone with information is urged to contact investigators.

On Thursday, October 14, 2021, shortly before 3:30 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to the area of Lincoln Alexander Parkway for reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers immediately secured the area and searched for anyone involved; however, they had fled the scene.

Through continued investigation, police confirmed a shooting incident had occurred.

The investigation has been taken over by Division Three Criminal Investigation Branch. Detectives are appealing to area residents or anyone who may have been traveling on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway between the hours of 3:15 p.m and 4:00 p.m. to check their dash cameras for any suspicious activity and to contact police.
