On Wednesday March 28th, 2018, shortly before 11:30p.m., the Hamilton Police Gangs and Guns Unit, assisted by members of the Emergency Response Unit attended a residence in the area of Weir Street North, Hamilton. Police secured the residence and executed a search warrant which resulted in the arrest of three individuals.

Police located and seized a large quantity of heroin, methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine and marijuana. The total estimated value of the seized illicit drugs is $195,000.00.

In addition to the seized drugs, police also located a loaded colt 22 calibre handgun with other various types of ammunition and a large sum of Canadian currency.

• Daniel Holloran 37 years of Hamilton
• Stephano Papadopoulos 38 years of Grimsby
• Miranda Shura 26 years of Hamilton

The three parties were charged jointly with multiple drug and firearm offences and held for a bail hearing.
