Hamilton Police Execute Search Warrants Across Hamilton
Hamilton Police have charged eight individuals after a series of drug warrants across Hamilton.
On Friday, September 9, 2022, just shortly after 5:00 a.m., Hamilton Police executed five CDSA search warrants across Hamilton, including two cars and several residences.
Members of the Major Drug Unit had been investigating a drug trafficking ring operating in the city and believed to be trafficking fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine.
With the assistance of specialized units (Hamilton Police Emergency Response Unit, HEAT Units, Halton Tactical Unit), as well as uniform patrol officers, the Major Drug Unit executed the early morning warrants.
Ultimately, eight individuals were charged with several offences and a large quantity of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescriptions pills, proceeds of crime and tools associated to the drug trade were recovered. Police also located four firearms, including three fully loaded handguns and one rifle.
The following items were seized:
- 3 handguns fully loaded with additional rounds of ammunition
- 1 long arm rifle
- 1 Taser
- Fentanyl, cocaine, and crystal methamphetamine (totalling approximately 2 kilograms, valued at approximately $375,000).
- 1 motor vehicle as offence-related property (Acura MDX)
- Canadian and American currency
- Prescription narcotics
CHARGED:
- Luan Ximines, 42-years-old from Hamilton
- Krystal Burley, 40-years-old from Hamilton
- Anthony Benedetti, 32-years-old from Hamilton
- Subrina Jagmohansingh, 44-years-old from Toronto
- Claudia Lintack, 32-years-old from Hamilton
- Ashley Doyle, 24-years-old from Hamilton
- Sharren Boyer, 26-years-old from Hamilton
- Jesse Steingart, 40-years-old from Hamilton
Hamilton Police have also issued a warrant for 42-year-old Canute Nairne from Hamilton.
