Hamilton Police Investigate After Stabbing in City’s East End

Hamilton Police continue to investigate after an altercation in the City’s East End left one male suffering from injuries consistent with a stabbing.

On Sunday, August 8, 2021, shortly after 2:00 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to a disturbance in the area of Main Street East and Rosslyn Avenue.

Police attended and located a male in his early 30’s suffering from a stab wound.

The male was transported to hospital and has non-life threatening injuries.

The victim has been uncooperative with the investigation and does not wish to assist police.

Throughout the investigation it was learned that three males fled the area on foot after the altercation.

At this time, investigators are asking any residents in the area to check their video surveillance systems for any footage that may assist with the investigation.
