Hamilton Police Investigate Commercial Break and Enter on the Mountain

Hamilton Police are actively investigating a Commercial Break and Enter that took place in early December 2023 on the Hamilton Mountain.

In the evening of Sunday, December 10, 2023, between 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m., an unidentified suspect forcibly entered Staples located at 970 Upper Wentworth Street. The perpetrator made off with a significant quantity of electronics. Given the substantial amount taken, investigators believe the suspect likely utilized a vehicle for the transportation of the stolen goods. As of now, both the suspect and the stolen products remain outstanding.

The available images of the suspect in question are of poor quality. Hamilton Police are reaching out to area residents and business owners, urging them to review any surveillance footage from the vicinity during the mentioned timeframe.

The suspect is described as a male with an average build, wearing a black jacket, tan or khaki pants, dark shoes with white accents, and a bandana as a disguise.
