Hamilton Police Investigate Injured Animal
A 23-year-old Dundas man appeared in court on Sunday, April 12, 2020, to answer to charges related to an investigation into a posting on social media of a cat being harmed.
On Saturday, April 11, 2020, Hamilton Police received information about a male injuring a cat and posting it on social media. Through investigation, police identified an address related to the incident in the area of Cameron Avenue and York Road, Dundas. As a result of additional information obtained, Hamilton Police arrested a 23-year-old Dundas man. At the time of the incident, the male was bound by a previous court release and his arrest signified a violation to that order.
He appeared in court on Sunday, April 12, 2020.
Unfortunately, the cat succumbed to its injuries.
