Hamilton Police Investigate Mountain Area Home Invasion

The Hamilton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying four suspects involved in a home invasion robbery.

On Saturday, March 7, 2020, shortly after 12:30 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to an address in the area of Upper Sherman Avenue and Concession Street in regards to a home invasion.

Through investigation, police have determined four suspects forced their way into the residence while two of the males were in possession of firearms. The suspects assaulted two occupants and then fled the area with an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency. They were last seen travelling southbound on Upper Sherman in a four-door sedan.

The victims sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Police believe this was a targeted incident with the focus being money.

Area residents are urged to check their surveillance cameras for any suspicious activities and to contact police.

Hamilton Police will be in the area today conducting a canvass.

SUSPECTS

  • Male black, moustache, heavy build, approximately 6 feet tall, black coat, blue gloves, black pants, white shoes.
  • Male black, black shoes, blue shoelaces, black pants, blue coat, black gloves.
  • Male black, black Adidas sweat pants three white stripes on the side, black Canada Goose jacket, black gloves.
  • Male black, black sweater with skeleton outline, black skeleton mask, grey Adidas pants with three black stripes down the sides, black gloves.

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous and not to be approached. If any of the suspects are seen, please contact 911 immediately.
