Hamilton Police Investigate Mountain Home Invasion

Hamilton Police continue to investigate a home invasion at a mountain residence. A 45-year-old Hamilton man was transported to hospital with non–life threatening injuries.

On Thursday April 19, 2018, shortly before 9:00 a.m., three men were involved in a home invasion at a residence located in the area of Upper Wellington and Stonechurch Road East. At the time, one of the men was in possession of a knife.

The suspects fled the scene after assaulting the victim. The 45-year-old Hamilton man was transported to hospital with non–life threatening injuries.

The suspects fled in a black coloured sedan and are described as white males, 30-40 years of age.

Hamilton Police believe the attack was targeted and there is no risk to public safety.
