Hamilton Police Investigate Robbery

Hamilton Police are appealing to residents in a West Mountain neighbourhood to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity after a 25-year-old Welland man was the target of a robbery.

The Division 30 Criminal Investigations Bureau is investigating a robbery incident that occurred on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at approximately 7:30 p.m., in the area of Limeridge Road West and Bonaventure Drive, Hamilton.

The driver was alone in his parked vehicle when he was confronted by two male suspects with firearms. The suspects demanded the driver surrender personal items in his possession including his motor vehicle. The driver was not injured and the vehicle, a black 2009 Mercedes C300 with licence plate CCLR 590, was stolen and remains outstanding.

The two suspects involved in this incident are to be considered armed and dangerous. If members of the public see the vehicle or suspects, do not approach, contact 9-1-1 immediately.

At this time police believe this was a targeted incident.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1

  • Male, Brown skin complexion, 17-18-years-of-age, 5’10, 150 LBS, Thin Build, Short Black Hair wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black track pants and red Air Jordan basketball shoes.

Suspect 2

  • Male, Caucasian, 15-16-years-of-age, 5'10", 160 LBS, Medium build, Dark curly haired, wearing a grey tracksuit
