Hamilton Police Investigate Theft of Virgin Mary Statue

Hamilton Police are appealing to the public for information on the whereabouts of a stolen Virgin Mary Statue. The statue was taken from Annunciation of our Lord Catholic Elementary School located at 250 Limeridge Road East, Hamilton, between August 21 and August 22, 2018.

On Wednesday, August 22, 2018, Hamilton Police were called to investigate the theft of a Virgin Mary Statue from Annunciation of our Lord Catholic School, 250 Limeridge Road East. The statue was stolen several hours before August 22 at 10:00 a.m. At the time it was on display in a garden area that was surrounded by fencing and a locked gate.

The statue is approximately 3.5 feet tall, weighs 15 pounds and is valued at $400.00.
