Hamilton Police Investigating Assaults in Downtown Hamilton

Hamilton Police are looking to identify potential victims after a series of assaults in the downtown core.

On Thursday, April 15, 2021, at approximately 10:00 a.m., witnesses called police after a male was seen assaulting and threatening two unknown males outside of Jackson Square, on James Street North.

Police are attempting to identify and make contact with the two victims.

Further, the male also approached an adult woman in the downtown core and sexually assaulted her. The suspect and the female were not known to each other. Investigators believe there are other victims.

SERIEAUX remains in custody.
