Hamilton Police Investigating Robbery

Hamilton Police continue to investigate a robbery that occurred on September 1, 2023.

On Friday September 1, 2023, at approx. 4:30 p.m. a lone male suspect entered a business in the area of Upper James St. and Rymal Rd. W.  The suspect made a demand for money while producing a firearm.

The suspect was successful in obtaining a small amount of cash before fleeing the area southbound on foot . He was last seen travelling on foot westbound on Malton Dr. from Christie St. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as follows:

  • Male, 6’0-6’2, average build
  • Wearing a black/white “Hollister” hoodie, dark pants, mask, no gloves, black shoes w/ white soles
  • At one point the suspect removed his sweater and was wearing a white t-shirt

Investigators are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying the robbery suspect.
