Hamilton Police Looking to Identify Male

Hamilton Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male in relation to the attempted theft of a pick-up truck.

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, shortly before 2:00 p.m., an attempt was made to steal the victim’s truck as it was parked in the lot of 71 Hamilton Street North, in Waterdown.

The suspect ‘punched’ the front driver’s side door lock and ignition; however, he was unable to get the vehicle started.

As a result of the investigation into this incident, an image of the suspect and related vehicle were located. Hamilton Police are asking the public for their assistance with identifying the suspect after exhausting efforts through investigation.  

The suspect is described as male, medium complexion, moustache, approximately 5’10”, medium build wearing a black coat and toque. Police believe he was operating an older model brown/gold Honda CRV during the incident.
