Hamilton Police Make Arrest in Fall 2023 Shooting Investigation

Hamilton Police have charged a 23-year-old Hamilton man in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in the fall of 2023.

Yesterday, April 11, 2024, Ahmed Issak-Hussan was arrested by Hamilton Police.
He is facing several charges:

·         Careless Use of Firearm

·         Discharge Firearm with Intent

·         Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm

·         Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing There was a Firearm

·         Possession Contrary to Order

·         Prohibited Firearm – Loaded/Unloaded

·         Reckless /Discharge of Firearm – into or at a place

·         Unauthorized Possession of Firearm

Ahmed's charges stem from an ongoing investigation into a targeted shooting that occurred on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Beach Boulevard and Wickham Avenue in Hamilton.

The investigation remains active, with efforts underway to identify any additional individuals involved.
