Hamilton Police Officer Charged with Firearm-Related Offences

Hamilton Police have charged a member with firearm-related offences after an on-duty incident last week.

Constable Brandon Terdik has been charged after he pointed his service firearm at another Hamilton Police member during his shift on October 23, 2021.

Charges:

  • Point Firearm
  • Careless Use of a Firearm

The officer has been suspended with pay. He has been released on an undertaking and will appear in court on November 25, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.

The matter is now before the courts. Out of respect for the court process, Hamilton Police Service will not be providing further comment.
