Hamilton Police Release Video in Attempt Murder

Hamilton Police are releasing video from Saturday's attempted murder at Sheila's Place in Hamilton.

On Saturday, November 16, 2019, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Hamilton Police and Hamilton Paramedics responded for reports of a shooting in the area of Sheila's Place/Ellis Kitchen located at 455 King St. E in Hamilton.

Police arrived on scene at approximately 2:34 a.m. and located a 24-year-old male with a gun shot injury to his head. The victim was transported to the Hamilton General Hospital by ambulance.

This male victim was treated at hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Investigators are seeking the following suspect:

  • Male Black
  • 20-30 yrs.
  • White hooded jacket
  • Light coloured pants
  • Dark shoes
  • Wearing a black satchel

This male was seen running from the scene northbound on East Ave. from King St. E. after the shooting.

Investigators are also seeking witnesses in this matter. At this time, witnesses are not forthcoming with information. Detectives are continuing to canvass the area.
