Hamilton Police Release Video, Seek Tips on Violent Home Invasion

In response to a harrowing home invasion and robbery on Saturday, February 3, 2024, shortly after 4:30 a.m., Hamilton Police investigators are taking a proactive step by releasing crucial video footage related to the incident. The unsettling event unfolded in the area of Hopkins Court and York Road in Dundas, involving four male suspects who forcefully entered a residence, brandishing firearms.

The suspects hastily fled the scene, making off with a navy blue Audi Q5 (Ontario licence plate CXLJ430) and a silver Porsche 992 (Ontario licence plate CYXR654). Operating a dark-colored Dodge Ram pick-up truck, the suspects managed to escape without causing physical harm to the victims.

Preliminary findings suggest the incident was targeted in nature.

Suspect Descriptions:

  • Four black males
  • Wearing balaclavas, dark hooded sweatshirts, and pants
  • All suspects believed to be in their 20s

Hamilton Police are urgently seeking the community's support in reviewing the released video footage.

Detectives are asking residents in the area of Hopkins Court and York Road to review their security surveillance cameras between 4:15 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on the morning of the incident for any signs of suspicious activity.
