Hamilton Police Seek Assistance in Assault with a Weapon Investigation
Hamilton Police are investigating an assault with a weapon that occurred on Monday, May 16, 2022.
On Monday, May 16, 2022, at approximately 2:45a.m. an unknown male suspect entered a business in downtown Hamilton and selected merchandise before leaving without any attempt to pay. When confronted by an employee outside of the business the suspect brandished an unknown weapon and cut the employee before fleeing on foot southbound on John Street South.
Investigators are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect for this assault.
