Hamilton Police Seek Assistance with Single Motor Vehicle Collision

Hamilton Police seek the public’s assistance in the investigation of a motor vehicle collision which took place on Thursday, July 26, 2018. A 17-year-old female has suffered serious injuries and police believe there were several witnesses to the incident.

On Thursday, July 26th, 2018, at approximately 1:00 am, Hamilton Police responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision with a pedestrian, in the parking lot of 115 Hamilton Street, Waterdown.

Preliminary information revealed the parties were known to each other and may have been attempting a stunt together which resulted in one person being injured.

A 17-year-old female from Hamilton was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The 18-year-old female from Hamilton who was operating the vehicle, a 2012 Hyundai Accent, was not injured.

Police believe the incident was videotaped and numerous witnesses were present.
