Hamilton Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Robbery Suspect
Hamilton Police are actively investigating two robberies that occurred in late October on the Hamilton Mountain and are reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying the suspect involved.
On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m., an unidentified suspect entered the Pioneer Gas Bar located near Upper Gage Avenue and Crockett Street. The suspect approached the counter, brandishing a firearm, and demanded money before fleeing on foot southbound on Upper Gage Avenue.
Similarly, on Friday, October 27, 2023, just after 2:00 a.m., an unknown suspect targeted the Shell Gas Station on Fennell Avenue East at Upper Ottawa Street. This time, the suspect wielded a large knife, made a demand for money at the counter, and subsequently fled westbound on Fennell Avenue East. In both incidents, the businesses experienced a loss of Canadian currency, while fortunately, no physical injuries were sustained by anyone involved.

Male
Height: 5’9 – 6’0
Muscular/large build
Attire: Green hooded sweater, dark pants, black shoes
Accessories: White medical mask, black baseball hat, work gloves, and a black backpack.
