Hamilton Police Seek Public Assistance with Assault Investigation

Hamilton Police are looking for assistance with an assault investigation that has left a 34-year-old Stoney Creek man seriously injured. Four males assaulted the victim in a downtown alleyway and subsequently fled the scene leaving him seriously injured.

On Thursday, September 13, 2018, shortly before midnight, Hamilton Police responded to an assault in an alleyway in the area of Spring Street and Main Street East, Hamilton. While meeting with an unknown male in the alley, the victim was attacked by four males. During the assault, the victim was knocked to the ground sustaining injuries. It is believed the suspects fled the scene running south on Spring Street. The victim was found unconscious and transported to hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition.
