The Hamilton Police Service is investigating the early morning robbery of a convenience store. If you believe you have any information on this incident or can identify the suspects, please contact police.

On Friday, August 10, 2018, shortly after 5:00 a.m., two suspects entered Corner’s Variety Store, located at 997 Cannon Street East, Hamilton. They were in possession of a shotgun at the time of the incident. As a result of attempting to subdue a suspect, one employee received a minor injury. Both suspects subsequently fled on foot.

Both suspects are described as follows:

• Male
• Caucasian
• 5’8 -5’10 tall
• Wearing Dark Jackets

Police are reminding the public, their safety is the primary focus. In situations where there is a potential for injury or act of violence, it is recommended people comply with the demands made of them and to contact police when safe.
