Hamilton Police Seek the Public’s Assistance with a Collision Involving a Cyclist and Cement Mixer

Hamilton Police would like to speak with anyone who witnessed a collision between a cement mixer truck and a cyclist earlier today at the intersection of King Street West and Queen Street North, Hamilton. The cyclist has succumbed to his injuries. The Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this incident.

On Friday, August 17, 2018, shortly before 9:30 a.m., Hamilton’s Emergency Services partners responded to reports of a collision involving a cyclist and cement mixer truck at the intersection of King Street West and Queen Street North, Hamilton.

The cyclist, a 77-year-old Hamilton man has succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the cement mixer is cooperating with police.

The Hamilton Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene of the collision and has carriage of the investigation which is still ongoing at this time.
