Hamilton Police Seek Witnesses to Fail to Remain Collision

Hamilton Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed an incident involving a Honda Accord and a transport truck on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway, to contact police. The driver of the Accord was not injured during the Wednesday morning incident. The driver of the transport truck failed to remain at the scene

On Wednesday, October 31, 2018, shortly after 9:00 a.m., a Honda Accord was involved in an incident with a transport trailer on the LINC. The Accord was travelling westbound in the area of Upper Ottawa Street when it was struck in the rear several times by a transport trailer before the Mohawk Road off-ramp. The transport truck failed to stop and communicate with the driver of the Accord, despite both vehicles exiting onto Highway 403 westbound. At the time of the incident, traffic was congested and police believe there is a high potential for witnesses.

The 52-year-old Hamilton man, who operating the Accord was not injured.
