Hamilton Police Take Three Guns off the Streets

Hamilton Police continue to take guns off Hamilton streets.

This week Hamilton Police seized three firearms, all from separate incidents.

On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, shortly after 6:00 a.m., police were made aware of a possible impaired driver in the area of Gage Park. Officers located the vehicle and conducted their investigation, which subsequently lead to locating a loaded .40 calibre hand gun, 240g of Cocaine, 10.5g Fentanyl and 110 Oxycontin pills.

26-year-old man of Hamilton

  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
  • Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was Firearm
  • Prohibited Firearm- Loaded
  • Careless Use, Carry, Transport, Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Ammunition
  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand
  • Possession for the Purpose Schedule 1- Other Drugs
  • Possession for the Purpose Schedule 1- Opioid
  • Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
  • Proceeds of Crime Under $5000

Osman had his bail opposed.

On Thursday, September 23, 2021, Hamilton Police Gangs and Weapons Enforcement Unit executed a warrant on a residence on Dundas Street. From the warrant, police seized a 9mm semi-auto handgun with a high capacity magazine capable of holding 30 rounds, over 500 grams of processed marijuana, over $12,000 cash and paraphernalia to support trafficking.

  • Possession of a Prohibited device
  • Possession of a Firearm with Altered Serial Number
  • Proceeds of Crime Over $5000
  • Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling

 

Lampman was held for a bail hearing and Mah was released by way of Undertaking with conditions.

On Friday, September 24, 2021, members of Division 3 H.E.A.T executed a search warrant at a downtown apartment and arrested two individuals. A search of the residence located a loaded 9mm firearm.

  • Possession of Firearm with Altered Serial Number
  • Possession of Prohibited Weapon
  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm/Weapon

Both Sakr and Moss had their bail opposed.
