Hamilton Police can confirm the arrest of 25-year-old Faizan Ali, who was wanted by Hamilton Police in connection with the death of a motorcyclist in May 2021.

Ali was arrested by the New York State Police near Liberty, New York on May 7, 2026, along with two other Hamilton residents after a traffic stop. A subsequent search of the vehicle found a large cache of stolen and illegal firearms.
