Hamilton’s 8th Traffic Fatality of 2021

Hamilton Police are investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian and motor vehicle.

On Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at approximately 10:40 p.m., a 64-year-old male from Hamilton was walking southbound across Barton Street at Grosvenor Avenue in the City of Hamilton when he was struck by a motor vehicle traveling eastbound on Barton Street.

On Monday August 16, 2021, the pedestrian passed away as a result of the injuries received in the collision.

Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit now has carriage of the investigation.

This is the City’s 8th traffic fatality of 2021.
