Hamilton Police continue to investigate a shooting incident which left a 53- year-old Hamilton man deceased yesterday.

On Friday, March 24, 2023 shortly before 4:00 p.m., Hamilton Police were called to the area of Sanford Avenue North and Acorn Street for a shooting that had just occurred.  A 53-year-old Hamilton man was found deceased inside a residence.  

The Homicide Unit has been investigating and can confirm that the deceased male has been identified as Robert Barberstock.   Police believe this was a targeted attack and are currently looking for three to four male supsects who were seen fleeing from the scene.   

Police have confirmed that Barberstock was killed from a gun shoot wound.
