Hamilton Police Service is appealing for witnesses after a homicide on Clifton Downs Road in Hamilton.

On Thursday, November 22, 2018, just before 9:00 p.m., Hamilton Police were called to an address on Clifton Downs Road for a male victim in his 30s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Hamilton Paramedic Services responded but the male victim was pronounced at the scene.

The identity of the victim will not be released pending notification of next of kin.

Hamilton Police Service ACTION Team will be canvassing the crime scene area tonight and tomorrow morning. The investigation is still in the early stages, so no additional information is available. Detective Sergeant Steve Bereziuk will be available for a media update tomorrow. Details on the time and location will be sent in the morning.
