Loaded Handgun Recovered After Restaurant Disturbance

A 26-year-old man has been arrested, after police recovered a loaded firearm during an investigation.

On Saturday, October 22, 2022, shortly after 1:00 a.m., police entered into an investigation after receiving reports of a disturbance, where a handgun was seen at a Restaurant in the area of Upper Gage and Fennell Avenue East.

Police arrived on scene and located three individuals with injuries. The victims were transported to hospital.  

A perimeter was set up and police arrested a 26-year-old male of Hamilton.  During the investigation police located and seized a loaded firearm.

  • Marchello D’eshaun Fletcher, 26-year-old Hamilton man

CHARGES

  • Unauthorized Possession of a firearm
  • Possession of a firearm contrary to order
  • Fail to comply release order
  • Assault Level One
