On Wednesday June 22, 2022, shortly after 7:00 a.m. a 31-year-old Hamilton man was travelling eastbound (down bound) on the Kenilworth access past  the Hamilton reservoir, when his 2017 GMC Sierra motor vehicle left the road and struck a fence turning the vehicle onto its side.

Hamilton Paramedics and Hamilton Fire personnel attended the scene and extricated the male from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is not known at this time if this was a medical event or if speed and/or alcohol were factors in this collision.
