Male In Custody After Two Females Fall Victim to Online Dating Assault

A Hamilton man has been arrested and charged after sexually assaulting two women he met through online dating websites. Police are asking for any other victims who wish to report an incident to contact the Sexual Assault Unit.

On January 16, 2019, a 36-year-old Hamilton man was arrested for two counts of Sexual Assault, Forcible Confinement and Choking in relation to two separate incidents.

Two female victims, 23-years-old and 25-years-old, met the accused through online dating websites and police believe there could be more victims. Any information can be reported by contacting Detective Constable Ashley Lee at 905-540-5543.
