On Sunday June 5, 2022, at approximately 3:15p.m., a four vehicle collision occurred on the westbound Lincoln Alexander Pkwy exit to Mohawk Road West in the City of Hamilton.

A total of five adults were sent to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. 

Due to the severity of injuries, the Hamilton Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit was activated and is assisting the Traffic Safety Unit with the investigation.

Witnesses who have yet to speak with Police are asked to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-546-4753.

Driver impairment has been ruled out but all other contributing factor are still under investigation. 

The intersection was closed for approximately 6 hours for the investigation.
