Off-Duty Officer Makes Hamilton Roads A Little Safer

Motor vehicle showing signs of an impaired driver caught the attention of an off-duty Hamilton officer last night.

On Thursday, February 23, 2023, shortly before 9:30 p.m. an off-duty Hamilton officer observed a possible impaired driver in the area of Upper James Street and Rymal Road and contacted police.

On-duty Hamilton Police officers responded to the area, located the vehicle and after investigation, arrested the driver for impaired driving.

Further investigation revealed the vehicle operator was a disqualified driver.
