Hamilton Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an arson investigation.   

On Thursday, October 5, 2023, at approximately 3:00 p.m. Hamilton Police along with Hamilton Fire responded to a fire at the rear of a commercial business in the area of Lottridge Street and Barton Street.

The fire was put out quickly, resulting in minor damage to the building and no injuries. 

Through video surveillance obtained during the investigation, it has been determined the fire was deliberately set.    

The suspect description is as follows; 

• Male
• White
• 40-45 years-of-age
• Dark Goatee with chin strap beard
• Shaggy dark hair
• Black baseball hat with a white Yellowstone logo 
• Black Puma golf shirt 
• Gold watch on left wrist
• Dark jeans
• Black running shoes
• Operating a older model bicycle 
• Carrying a yellow No Frills reusable bag and black backpack
