Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Motor Vehicle Collision

Hamilton Police investigate pedestrian involved collision. 

On Wednesday, January 4, 2023, shortly after 5:30p.m., a 55-year-old Hamilton male was crossing Barton Street East a short distance from west of Sherman Avenue North, when he was struck by a passing motor vehicle.  The motor vehicle was driven by a 52-year-old female, who remained on scene and is cooperative with police investigators.  The pedestrian was transported to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.  The pedestrian has been identified and family have been notified

Due to the severity of the injuries the HPS Collision Reconstruction Unit was called in and has taken carriage of the investigation.
