Police Appeal for Witnesses to a Fail to Remain Collision

Hamilton Police continue to investigate an overnight fail to remain collision between a pedestrian and vehicle. The pedestrian has succumbed to his injuries and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

On Wednesday, October 9, 2019, shortly after 11:00 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to the area of Mohawk Road East and Seven Oaks Drive for a fail to remain collision. Through investigation, police believe a 65-year-old Hamilton man was struck by a vehicle as he crossed the road in front of 270 Mohawk Road East. The vehicle involved continued eastbound on Mohawk Road fleeing the scene.

The Hamilton Police Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the incident and is appealing for witnesses to come forward and for residents in the area to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity.
